After having three different roof inspections by two construction companies and my insurance and getting a different story from each of them I decided I needed somebody who was independent unbiased and worked for me. I did some digging and found a certification agency that certifies inspectors for roof inspections and found several in my area. A Light in the Attic was the first one that I called and John Rhodes was a great guy to talk too so I explained my situation and what I was looking for. Being able to hire him for a specific inspection and he not being a part of a construction company or insurance company was fantastic. He showed up on time he was incredibly thorough and very receptive to answering my questions and very descriptive in what he was doing why he was doing it and what it meant. Within 24 hours he provided me a written report that was incredibly well documented and descriptive. I feel very reassured after the work he has done for me because now I know what my expert says it's wrong and needs to be done and he isn't trying to deny my claim or sell me a roof. I would highly recommend him for any kind of inspection service because he was even able to point out several other things that he noted in passing. For my roof though I feel better equipped and better prepared to handle something that felt overwhelming before.
