Mold Inspections & Protocols

Why Do Mold Assessments Matter?

Houston’s humid climate creates the perfect conditions for mold to grow undetected behind walls, in ceilings, or within HVAC systems. Left unaddressed, mold can affect indoor air quality, health, and property value. Whether you’re buying, selling, or maintaining a home, a professional mold assessment provides peace of mind and helps catch problems early — before they become costly.

At A Light in the Attic, PLLC, our licensed Mold Assessment Consultants provide thorough, unbiased, mold assessment inspections in accordance with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) and IAC2 Standards of Practice.  We help homeowners and homebuyers in the Houston, Kingwood, The Woodlands, and nearby communities understand your property’s condition and make informed decisions to protect your home and family.

  • Initial Consultation: We discuss your concerns and property details to ensure the assessment is tailored to your needs.

  • Laboratory Analysis: All samples are analyzed by an accredited laboratory to identify mold types and levels.
